April 24: Anzac Eve - Courier-Mail Piazza - 6:30pm

The Queensland Choir joins the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Brisbane Concert Choir in the annual tribute to the Anzacs in the Courier-Mail Piazza in Southbank Parklands. This free public concert is a deeply moving event and has rapidly become a favourite part of Brisbane's annual Anzac celebrations. This year will see the presentation of choral works by Karl Jenkins - The Armed Man and Adiemus. The Police Pipes and Drums and the Australian Navy Band will perform and the soloists are Lisa Gasteen and Dominique Fegan.

April 27: Not the Last Night of the Proms - QPAC - 11:30am

This concert is part of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's Music on Sundays series and will feature all of the great music from the Proms as well as the choral works by Karl Jenkins - The Armed Man and Adiemus.

May 25: Vivaldi Spectacular - St John's Cathedral - 2:30pm

The 4MBS Festival commences with a celebration of the music of Vivaldi. The Choir will present the wonderful Gloria and the Badinerie Players will feature the Four Seasons and accompany the Choir.

July 20 and 27: Sunday Serenades - Sandgate and Wynnum Town Halls - 3:00pm

The Choir heads to the suburbs for these two Sunday matinee performances in the Sandgate Town Hall and Wynnum Municipal Hall on 20 and 27 July respectively. Music from a wide range of periods and styles will be performed, both accompanied and unaccompanied including opera choruses, oratorio choruses, folk songs and other fun music. The Choir will be joined by soloists for the program.

September 27: Schubert's Mass in G - The Old Museum- 7:30pm

The Choir will present this wonderful Schubert work along with Eric Whitacres Cloudburst and other music by Monteverdi, Beethoven and Holst. Accompaniment will be by the Sinfonia of St Andrew's and the Old Museum Pipe Organ.

November 29: Beethoven Mass in C - St John's Cathedral - 7:30pm

The Beethoven mass is the main feature for this concert but other works included are Berlioz- La mort d'Ophelie (ladies chorus) and Brahms - Alto Rhapsody (Male Chorus). The Sinfonia of St Andrew's will provide the accompaniment and orchestral works.
