The Queensland Choir enjoys performing in collaboration with other artists, other choral groups and arts organisations. In 2010 -11 it is seeking to provide a series of choral workshops for community choirs and school choirs.
The choir provides its members with the opportunity to participate in masterclasses led by experienced vocal coaches to assist with the quality of vocal performance.
It has a history of working with schools to perform major choral works. In the recent past these performances have been at Brisbane’s QPAC and have included Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana , David Fanshawe’s African Sanctus, Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha, and David Hamilton’s Missa Pacifica.
